A NEW WAY TO LEARN

Thanks to mobile, handheld devices the average person can now have convenient access to video almost anywhere. That was never possible before. We always had books we could take anywhere, and then audio, but never video. This opens up a whole new avenue for learning: the "learn by watching" approach. This approach may seem too simple and easy, but the results are real and exciting.
     Imagine that you've been called upon to jump a car battery but you've forgotten how. Rather than read what might be unclear instructions, you could just watch a video of the process and then imitate. Similarly, I once saw a video on how to get out of a frozen pond if you fell through the ice -- the video was much easier to follow than reading about the process and trying to understand the maneuvers.     NEXT
