A NEW WAY TO LEARN

But as helpful as the preceding examples might be, video instruction can go beyond step-by-step procedures. The amazing thing is, your body/brain has an intuitive way of learning by watching that is almost spooky. Ever watched a tennis match or something similar on television and then gone out and played noticeably better? I have, many times, and so have others I know. If you instead spent that two hours reading about the finer points of hitting a forehand, backhand, serve, etc. I'm not sure how helpful it would be. Trying to reduce an effective backhand to words is imprecise at best, impossible at worst. Even personal instruction by a pro can be frustrating. Yet, just sitting and watching great players exchange a variety of shots does something to your abilities. And although the effect may be limited to the succeeding few hours, it can always be repeated in the future.     NEXT
